- A prioritised fix list any team can act on
What one audit found.
From a recent full-site audit of a UK charity's freshly rebuilt website: a clean, modern build whose problems were QA, not design.
- 01
The homepage's primary call-to-action sent every first-time visitor to a login screen instead of sign-up, a dead end on the most important page.
- 02
Placeholder Lorem Ipsum and dead links were live in production, inside the testimonial carousel meant to build trust.
- 03
Unlabelled icon links and a muddled heading order pointed to likely WCAG 2.1 AA failures, on a site whose audience includes digitally excluded people.
- 04
Twenty issues in total, each ranked by severity and engineering effort. The three highest-impact fixes were a few hours of work each.
What you get.
- 01
A scored heuristic review of every key template, against Nielsen's ten usability heuristics.
- 02
An accessibility read against WCAG 2.1 AA, with the failures that matter first.
- 03
A conversion-path map: every call-to-action on the site and where it actually sends people.
- 04
A prioritised action plan, ranked by severity times effort with a recommended fix for every issue, plus a one-page summary you can forward.
How it works.
- 01Scope the review
Agree the pages and journeys that matter, and fix the fee.
- 02Audit the live site
Heuristics, accessibility, content QA and conversion mapping, page by page.
- 03Rank the findings
Every issue gets a severity, an effort estimate and a recommended fix.
- 04Walk you through it
A call and the full report. Fix it in-house, or we quote the reset.
What it is not.
- Not a redesign pitch. The report stands alone and any capable team can action it.
- Not opinion. Every finding is evidenced from your live pages.
- Not padded. If your site is in good shape, the report says so.
Pro-bono slots for Welsh charities.
Charity websites serve people who can least afford a confusing one. We keep a small number of pro-bono audit slots for registered charities in Cardiff and wider Wales, in exchange for permission to publish the audit as a case study. If that is you, say so in the form. There is no catch and no obligation to work with us afterwards.
Questions, answered.
- What do you need from us?
- A URL and twenty minutes to agree scope. We audit the live site, so there is nothing to install and no access to grant. Analytics access sharpens the conversion findings but is not required.
- Does it cover accessibility and mobile?
- Yes. Every audit includes a read against WCAG 2.1 AA and a review of the key journeys on small screens. Items that need assistive-technology testing beyond the audit are flagged honestly rather than asserted.
- Will you fix what you find?
- That is a separate decision, deliberately. The report is written so any capable team can act on it. When you want the fixes shipped, our product reset carries the highest-impact items into production.
- What does it cost?
- A fixed fee, agreed before we start, based on the number of page templates and journeys in scope. No day rates and no surprise extras. We also keep a small number of pro-bono slots for Welsh charities.

Note
What a UX audit should leave you with
A useful audit does not end with a scorecard and a feeling. It ends with a ranked list of evidenced problems that your team can start fixing on Monday.

Lorem Ipsum is live on your website, and it's costing you
The most damaging website problems are rarely design problems. They are QA failures nobody looked for: placeholder text, dead links, and buttons wired to the wrong place.
