Who is responsible

QDev is a trading name of QZee Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 12955704. Registered office: 20 Cradoc Road, Cardiff, Wales, CF14 1HQ. What we collect

If you use the project form, we receive your name, email address, project type, timing and message. Project type and timing are optional. Older form versions may also send company and buying-stage details. The form briefly uses your network address to limit automated abuse. If you email us directly, we receive the information in that email.

The live site is served by Render, whose hosting logs provide operational request and performance information. We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are read, and learn which pages lead to an enquiry. Analytics receives the page address without any query string, the referring site, coarse device and browser details, and a short list of interaction events such as opening a case study or starting the project form. We do not send names, email addresses, message contents, or other form-field values to analytics.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to reply, assess whether a project is a fit, scope requested work, and keep a record of the resulting business conversation. We use aggregate usage and performance information to improve the site and measure its effectiveness. The relevant bases are taking steps at your request before a possible contract and our legitimate interest in running, protecting, and improving the studio website.

Where it goes

Render hosts the live site and processes requests and form submissions on our behalf. Google processes analytics data for us through Google Analytics 4; Google Signals and advertising features are switched off, and analytics data is not shared with Google's advertising products. Successful project-form submissions are relayed to QDev's private Slack workspace so Cameron or Joel can reply. Those suppliers process information for us under their data-protection, security, and international-transfer terms. We do not send enquiry data to advertising platforms or data brokers. How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry only as long as we need it to respond, decide whether to work together, manage any resulting project, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We delete or anonymise information when it no longer serves one of those purposes. Hosting logs are retained under Render's configuration and data-processing terms. Google Analytics keeps visitor-level data for 14 months and aggregate reports for as long as the property exists.

Analytics, cookies, and local storage

Google Analytics sets its cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) only after you accept analytics in the strip at the bottom of the page. Until then the tag runs in a consent-denied state: it sends anonymous, cookieless signals that Google uses to model totals, and it stores nothing on your device. The site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Your choice is kept in your browser under qdev-consent-v1, and the light/dark theme preference under qdev-theme, so the site can remember both.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, restrict or object to some uses, or ask for a portable copy where the law applies. If this changes

We will update this page before adding advertising tracking or materially changing how analytics or the form are handled. A substantive change will get a new date at the top of the page.
